TED will change the way you view the world

Executives continuously need sources for inspiration. That’s why this week, I’m going to introduce you to TED. It used to be the most exclusive ticket for executives on the planet – an invitation to the TED conferences. Thousands of dollars, by invitation only and you got to hear the riveting thoughts of the world’s most illustrious thought leaders.

Well, today TED has grown by leaps and bounds and each day, they work even harder than the one before to keep their “ideas worth sharing” coming through to as many people as possible.

TED offers an extensive video library of talks – every talk ever given at a TED event, as a matter of fact – and they’re ready and waiting to provide YOU with inspiration when you need it most. Whether you’re prepping for a major meeting or just need a break in your day, you can stop by the TED site and view one of thousands of TED talks designed to provoke, inspire, amuse and change the way you think about the world.

If you’re a woman and you need additional motivation to take a closer look at TED, they launched TED Women within the past year. This page will take you on a guided tour of these talks, given by some of the most inspiring female voices in the world. Many are women you’ve never heard of and others are women everyone’s heard of. Regardless of who they are, they’re bound to give you the spark you need to take your game to the next level!

I think the most incredible thing about the TED series is that no two talks are alike and that they’re only 18 minutes long. When executive women need inspiration, we need it fast and TED’s found a great way to package these “ideas worth sharing” into an easy-to-consume format. I hope you enjoy exploring the TED world as much as I do, and I’ll bet that I’ll see you bopping back there for more!
