Today’s post is a bit unconventional. Women in business – we’re givers all year long. It has nothing to do with shopping or when the stores put up their holiday decorations. For women in business, the holiday season is a continuation of what we do by nature each and every day: taking care. We take care of our clients, families and businesses and it becomes second nature.
I’m going to give you some unconventional gift ideas for the businesswomen in your life. The holidays don’t have to be about what you wrap-up. They can be about telling a very special woman that she’s loved, appreciated and you wouldn’t know what to do without her. Gratitude shows itself in many ways, and perhaps some of these will spark an idea for the special women in business in YOUR life!
Airline Gift Cards: What better way to tell a friend, colleague, girlfriend or wife that you get the need to get away? Most major airlines offer gift certificates, miles for purchase or gift cards.
Restaurant Gift Cards: We all have to “do lunch.” Grab your favorite business gal a gift card to her favorite restaurant and give her the condition that she has to use it to take HERSELF out to a nice meal (no clients invited).
Charitable Gifts: Many of us have favorite charities, so why not make a donation to your recipient’s charity of choice in her name?
